The expression “sexual elegance”
came in to the conversation recently and it reminded me of what, to me certainly, is important in
erotica and in one’s personal fantasies. We can all be turned on by so may
different things, often by some unexpected stimulus, but if that stimulus has a
hint of surrealism and a dream like quality to it, then, speaking as a
sensualist, I find that it is far more
likely to stroke the tender parts of my imagination. Just as when we are being
seduced, soft candle light and soothing words are as important a part of the
experience along with the delicate touch of lips and hands.
When it comes to visual
erotica, I find that black and white images are more likely to have that
elegance to them and I thought I would give you a small handful of such images. I have to say however that when I stared on this exercise, the problem was what I
should leave out.
Let’s start with this
beautiful tethered nude.
She has a beautiful serenity
about her that I really love. Naked save for a few skimpy items designed to
eroticise rather than protect her body, she is tied and helpless, but in a mood
of quiet acceptance. Whatever pleasure of punishment that will be visited on
her smooth elegant body it will not disturb her dignity. She was born to give
and receive erotic pleasure to herself and others, and each time I look at this
picture it reminds me why I decided to devote so much of my time and energy to
sex.
What about this girl in a
narrow corridor, a hotel by the look of it.
She is completely naked save
for the high heels that eroticise her legs, but she is dangling a long black
evening dress so that somehow she has the all glamour of someone attending an
expensive and exclusive function but has all the sexuality of the nude. What is
she doing here, and why is her head stretched back as if in sexual ecstasy?
It’s all down to our own imaginations.
And here, almost as a
companion piece is, yes, another female in a hotel corridor.
Fully dressed this time but we can see more of her face and she’s beautiful. More than that, her features are contorted with sexual pleasure as she’s in some private world of her own and she’s masturbating. If ever there was a visual personification of someone in their own Ivory Tower, this could be it.
And what about this one,
very simple this time,
a very beautiful girl, completely naked save
for a simple gossamer drape that suggests and scarcely hides her lower body. It
leaves us the viewer with the overwhelming urge
to slide it down over her thighs and expose the whole of her before
planting kisses on the newly available flesh. Just thinking about this, I can
feel the shimmer and hear the hiss as it
slips down and away
What next?
A young couple
engaged in sexual ballet, their backs arched and their bodies curved like sea
horses against each other. This has a dreamy softness to it, notwithstanding
that the man’s penis is tight and erect,
pressed tightly against the girl’s sex
by her eager fingers. Explicit , oh yes, no question about that, but its
elegance stops it from being distasteful in any way.
And lastly, a little
different this time, a glowing nude being quietly spanked across the knee of
some ghostly male.
This is like a dream
sequence, as if the girl had been spirited way to some weird other world to be
punished for sins that even now she is unable to understand. It is easy to feel
the kiss of his hand against her bare and shimmering flesh, and equally to
imagine the disembodied arousal of their later congress.
I suspect that a lot of you
have favourite back and white images. If
you want to send me the links I would be happy to take my time looking at them.
ah, b&w, day for night etc nothing quite like it
ReplyDeleteHelmut snapped mainly in black & white and phew - 'snapped' ha
Love Mr Newton. He gets a passing mention in my most recent mainstream book, close to being finished.

I have always felt the human body filmed in black and white is always more sensual. The photo makes one think more about the picture, the meaning , the purpose and reason the picture was taken in that pose. B&W makes the body appear more erotic and exotic and captures the mood the model is trying to convey. It may be old fashioned but in this case older may be better.
